PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN

Dear community members/2019 Application,

 

Each year since 2014 WEST of Windsor Inc. sponsors 25 women to go to S.t Clair College to study in the CNC Industrial Mechanic Millwright program. WEST pays their tuition in full. Moreover we pay for their tools, equipment, transportation, childcare and provide health care coverage. Additionally we provide free math refresher classes to all.

 

Please refer any lady (friends, family, clients, associates) you feel is deserving of an opportunity to study in the program as soon as possible as the recruitment period is soon to close.

 

TO ALL 2019 Women In Skilled Trades APPLICANTS – We are looking forward to seeing you ALL this evening!!

AWARDS

  ATTENTION FUTURE GRADUATES: 
Is the death of one or both of your parents the reason you cannot afford to attend College or University next year? If you have serious intentions to attend College or University next year but due to financial problems may not be able to, then be sure to stop by the guidance office and pick up an application for the BBF Bursary. $2000 dollars will be awarded to a student in need. 

Once again, applications for the $2000 dollar BBF Bursary are available at guidance to a deserving student who has suffered the loss of one or both parents. Come to guidance to pick up an application.

PUBLIC EVENT:  Everyone -staff, students and parents, are invited to a Courage for Freedom Event in response to human sex trafficking of minors.  Guest speaker Kelly Franklin is an expert on the topic and will help those in attendance understand the trends and realities around the fastest growing crime in Canada -Human trafficking.  

The event will be held at St. John Vianney Church - May 17, 2019. It's free.
