"MEDPALS"

ATTENTION FUTURE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS: Check out this cool opportunity! If you're a high school student interested in the healthcare field, this is your chance to be paired with a medical student mentor, learn about the application process, practice clinical skills and so much more! MedPals is a program run by Schulich School of Medicine that matches high school students from the Windsor-Essex area with first and second year medical student mentors. This allows high school students interested in medicine or who are unsure about what to do after high school to learn more about the field. It is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about university or getting into healthcare! As a mentee, you will attend three to four events (virtually or possibly in-person if it's safe to do so at a later time) throughout the year to meet with your mentor in a group setting. Past events have included a tour of the medical school, learning clinical skills, and games night! If you would like to sign up or would like more information, please email us at <<windsormedpals@gmail.com>>.
